Robert Jamieson
Senior Consultant
Since joining the team in January 2019, Robert has worked on the Essex 100 Day Challenge working with people with learning disabilities and autism, collaborated with the Lived Experience team at NHS England on efforts to enable people with lived experience step into leadership roles, and supported Midlothian council to understand the experience of thousands of its staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has also supported the team’s efforts to develop a comms function.
Robert had a background in policy and community engagement, and previous roles have focused on tackling food poverty, increasing civic participation, and exploring the impact of regeneration on local communities. He is particularly proud of establishing the UK’s first Universal Credit Network for voluntary and community sector organisations.
Outside of work, Robert is the Chair Edible Rotherhithe, a community food growing, gardening and arts charity based in Southwark, London. In his spare time he enjoys being a Manchester United supporter, and (occasionally) sampling South London’s pub culture.
