Since joining the team in September 2019, Haru has worked on several projects including Covid & Civil Society response – gathering insights from civil society responding to COVID, supporting the delivery of Dementia workshops to capture feedback from people with lived experience, and supporting the development of Nesta’s new strategy. Haru works on the impact content coordination, governance processes and operational planning across multiple projects.
She brings a broad range of experience in health systems thinking, with a particular focus on improving strategic planning and coordination. She has a keen interest in improving health outcomes through social change, working with homeless young people and young parents, through frontline programme delivery, sexual and reproductive health services, policy implementation programmes, planning roundtable events involving lived experiences and civil society forums.
Outside of work, Haru is passionate about painting, photography, hiking and anything to do with biology and intersectional environmentalism!
